CORRESPONDENCE (Korespondado).

The following are some of the more usual forms of dates, commencements, and conclusions of letters:—

DATES.

• Londono, Anglujo.
• je la 24^a de Januaro 1906^a.
• je la 24^a de Jan^o 1906^a.
• la 10^an de Feb^o 1906^a.
• 25 Junio 1906^a.

N.B.—The preposition je is generally omitted and the accusative used in its place, as:—La 12^an de Marto.

Reference to Dates.—In referring to date, the preposition de is generally used, e.g.:—Responde al via letero de ... = In reply to your letter of....
