Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹ that diqʹ moreover tchi-watʻhāʹwĭʼ while-it (n.)-self-bore along neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (an.)-child-great (is) tʻhihodyeʹĕⁿʻ just-he-self-kept-still hăʼnigoⁿʹhäʼ-khoʻ, his-mind-was on (it), and, ganioʼʹ just as soon as wēʹĕⁿʻ far away hēʼsʹ he-goes-to and fro neʻʹ the hăgĕⁿʻʹdjĭ he (an.)-ancient one (is) goʼʹgeʻ quickly waādeʼnoⁿʻdaʻʹgoʼ did-he-self-unbury neʻʹ the oʼneʻʹsăgoñ it (n.)-sand-in neʼʹhoʻ there ganyadākʹdăʼ it (n.)-lake-beside heʻhawēʹnoñ, thither-he-went, oʼtʻhaʻdjāʹĕⁿʼ-khoʻ did-he-it-shove-and neʻʹ the găʻhoñʹwăʼ it (n.)-canoe oʻnegăʼʹgeʻ it (n.)-water-on oĕⁿʼʹheʼt, it (n.)-stood, stopped, oʼtʻhōʹet did-he-call aloud waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Gāʹoʼ “Hither nondāʹswet thence-do-you-come agesʻhenoⁿʼʹsʻhoⁿʼ my-servants-several neʻʹ the hoñʹgak.” wild geese.”
Oʹnĕⁿʻ Now (then) neʻʹ the hoñʹgak wild geese onadiʼsʹdāʼ they (z.)-noise-raised “dauñʻʹ” “dauñʻʹ” dyoʹdoñ, there-it-sounded, gagweʹgoⁿ it (n.)-entire oʼwādīʹyoⁿʼ did-they (z.)-arrive gahoñwakʹdăʼ it (n.)-canoe-beside oʼwadyăʼdaniyoñʹdĕⁿʼ. did-they-own-body-attach. [[735]] Dāʹ So (then) neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (an.)-child-great (is) ganioʼʹ as soon as waādeʼnoⁿʻʹdäʻ did-he-self-put-aboard oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Neʼʹhoʻ “There nāʹeʻ verily hĕⁿdjiswadōʹgĕⁿt hence-will-again-you-direct (yourselves) heʹoñweʻ there where diswaʻdĕñʹdyoñ thence-you-have-departed khoʻʹ and neʻʹ the dyoñgwăʻdĕñʹdyoñ.” thence-we-you-have-started.”
Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹ that diqʹ moreover neʻʹ the hoñʹgak wild geese onatʻhonʹdeʼ they (z.)-it-hear neʻʹ the năⁿʼʹot kind-of-thing waāsʹnyeʼt did-he-it-speak oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) oʼwadīʹgaweʼ did-they (z.)-paddle oʻsnoäʹdieʼ, it-swiftly-went along, “Suʻʹ, “Suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ, suʻʹ,” suʻʹ,” ōʹdoⁿʻ. it (n.)-kept saying.
Neʻʹ The oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) Sʻhagowēʹnotʻhăʼ Sagowenota waāʹyoⁿʼ did-he-arrive, reach heʹoñweʻ there where hatʻhoñwayĕñdăkʹhwăʼ he-his-canoe-to-lie-uses (it) waāʹgĕⁿʼ did-he-it-see neʻʹ the găʻhoñʹwăʼ it (n.)-canoe īʹnoⁿ far away wăʼoʻdĕñdyoñâñʹdieʼ thither-it-moving-went along ganyadāeʼʹgeʻ it (n.)-lake-on neʼʹhoʻ thereon hăʼnoⁿʻdăʹdieʼ he being aboard went along neʻʹ the hăksăʼ-gōwā, he (an.)-child-great (is) neʼʹ that daonooʻdonʹdieʼ, thence-he-it-controlling came along, oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) oʼtʻhōʹet did-he-shout neʻʹ the hagĕⁿʹdjĭʻ he (an.)-ancient one (is) waāsʹnyet did-he-it-speak waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Dondasăʻʹget “Thence do-thou-turn back dedyadäⁿnonʹdeʼ. both-thou-I-brothers-are. Skoⁿʻnonkʹheʼ Again-I-thee-to-bring-come nīʹgĕⁿʼ.” so-it-is.” Oʹnĕⁿʻ Now (then) neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (n.)-child-great (is) tĕⁿʼʹĕⁿ, not-at all, dāogăʹyĕⁿ not-he-consents ahatʻhonʹdāt. should-he-it-listen to. Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹ that diqʹ moreover neʻʹ the Sʻhagowēʹnotʻhăʼ Sagowenota oʹnĕⁿʻ now then doñsāhōʹet, again-did-he-shout, [[736]] waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Hōʹ, “Hōʹ, dagīʹdĕñʻ thou-me-do-have pity on dedyadĕñnoñʹdeʼ. both-thou-I-brothers (are). Dondasăʻʹget.” Thence-do-thou-turn back.”
Oʹnĕⁿʻ Now (then) neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (n.)-child-great (is) daāsʹnyeʼt thence-he-it-spoke waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Nisʹ “The-thou dăʼāʹoⁿʻ not-able aisăgāʹyoⁿʻ did-you-consent dondasăʻʹget.” thence-then-wouldst-turn-back.”
Dāʹ So (then) neʻʹ the Sʻhagowēʹnotʻhăʼ Sagowenota dondaāsʹnyeʼt thence again-did-he-it-speak waiʹĕñʼ did-he-it-say āʹeʼ. again, once more “Hĕⁿʼʹĕⁿ “Not at all deʼʹiʼ not-I neʻʹ the Sʻhagowēʹnotʻhăʼ. Sagowenota. Geʻhăʼsʻhäʼ-sʻhoñ I-servant-just (am) niʼʹăʻ. the-I-only. Tʻhĕⁿʼʹdyoⁿʼ There-he-abides nāʹeʻ verily neʻʹ the Sʻhagowēʹnotʻhăʼ.” Sagowenota.”
Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹ that diqʹ moreover neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (an.)-child-great (is) tĕⁿʼʹĕⁿ not (it is) deʼotʻhondāʹtoⁿ not-did-he-it-obey neʻʹ the năⁿʼʹot kind of thing woōdoⁿesyoⁿʻʹkwĕⁿʼ did-he-him-it-pray for neʻʹ the hoswāʹĕⁿs. he-him-hates. Wăasʹnyeʼt Did-he-it-speak woōʹwĭʼ he-it-told neʻʹ the hoñʹgak wild geese waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it-say, “Neʼʹhoʻ “There (to that place) heseswadōʹgĕⁿt thither, (do)-again you-go directly heʻʹ where diswăʻdĕñʹdyoñ.” thence-you started away.”
Dāʹ So (then) oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) neʻʹ the hăksăʼʹgōwā he (an.)-child-great (is) khoʻʹ and neʻʹ the hosʻheʹnĕⁿʼsʻhoⁿʼ his-servants-several neʻʹ the hoñʹgak wild geese yăʻhoñnădīʹʼheʼt thither-they (z.)-arrived (stopped) oʻhĕⁿʼoñʹdieʼ; it (n.)-day-becoming (was); heʹoñweʻ there where tʻhodinoⁿʻʹsot. there-their (an.)-lodge-stood. Gāʹnioʼ As soon as waoʼdīʹʼheʼt did-they (z.) stop oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) waiʹĕñʼ, did he-it-say, “Agesʻhenoⁿʼʹsʻhoⁿʼ “My-servants-several neʻʹ the hoñʹgak wild geese oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) swadekhwiʻsăkʹhăʻ.” you-your-food-to-seek-for (do) go.” Dāʹ So (then) oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) nāʹeʻ verily oʼdwadīʹdĕⁿʼ did-they (z.)-fly neʻʹ the hoñʹgak, wild geese, “dauñʻʹ,” “dauñʻʹ,” oʼʹgĕⁿʼ. did-it-say
Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹhoʻ there oʼhăsʹnyeʼt did-he-it-speak waiʹĕñʼ, did-he-it say, “Ogondăʹdieʼ “At once, right away, dĕⁿdīʹsweʼ thence-will you-come neʼʹ that neʻʹ the gāʹnioʼ as soon as neʼʹ that ĕⁿʹgiʼ,” will-I-it say,” oʹnĕⁿʻ-khoʻ now (then) -and waādyĕñʹtʻhoʼ did-he-it-draw neʻʹ the găhoñʹwăʼ it (n.)-canoe khoʻʹ and neʻʹ the oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) waāʻdĕñʹdĭʼ, did-he-depart, khoʻʹ and neʻʹ the oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) waādawĕñʹĕñt did-he-it ascend heʻʹ where gäoⁿʻʹgädeʼ. it (n.)-bank (of the shore). [[737]] Dāʹ So (then) neʼʹ that diqʹ moreover neʻʹ the oʹnĕⁿʻ now (then) heʹōyoñ there-he-it-entered waāʹgĕⁿʼ did-he-it-see neʼʹhoʻ there yeʼʹdyoⁿʼ she (an.)-abode neʻʹ the yeksăʼʹgōwā, she (an.)-child-great (is), (young maid) neʼʹ that neʻʹ the agoñʹgweʻ. she (an.) woman (is) = (human being).
