saith unto
them, All ye
shall be

I will smite the
shepherd, and
the sheep shall
be scattered
abroad.
28 Howbeit,
after I am raised
up, I will go
before you into
Galilee.
29 But Peter
said unto
him, Although
all shall be
3offended, yet
will not I.
30 And Jesus
saith unto
him, Verily I
say unto thee,
that thou
to-day, even this
night, before
the cock crow
twice, shalt
deny me thrice.
31 But he spake
exceeding
vehemently, If
I must die with
thee, I will not
deny thee. And
in like manner
also said they
all.





31 Then saith

cannot I follow
thee even now?
I will lay
down my life
for thee. 38 Jesus
answereth,
Wilt thou
lay down thy
life for me?
Verily, verily,
I say unto
thee, The cock
shall not crow,
till thou hast
denied me
thrice.
35 And he said unto them, When
I sent you forth without purse,
and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye
any thing? And they said, Nothing.
36 And he said unto them, But
now, he that hath a purse, let him
take it, and likewise a wallet: 5and
he that hath none, let him sell his
cloke, and buy a sword. 37 For I
say unto you, that this which is
written must be fulfilled in me [see
Isa. 53:12], And he was reckoned
with transgressors: for that which
concerneth me hath 6fulfilment.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here
are two swords. And he said unto
them, It is enough.
